So imagine that you have your right fist in front of you, palm face down, closed and that this represents the earth; Eden is on your thumb knuckle.The Pacific ocean is on your little finger knuckle. Your face is Gods face and at this point in time all is pitch black.
Gen.1:3.Then God said let there be light, and there was light.
At this point in time, your face is a shining light onto the back of your fist and on the other side, where your fingers are, it is in pitch black darkness.
Gen.1:4. And God called the Light Day and the Darkness he called night.
Now the Bible does not say this but at the moment HE switched on his light power he also started to turn the earth. So that:
The back of your fist is now bathed in light. Eden is at the early morning stage on the extreme left, and as you begin to turn your hand so that Eden comes to the top of your fist and then slowly goes over to the right. Eden then comes to the evening point and your fingers which were bathed in darkness are now bathed in light.
Now mentally swap Eden over to the knuckle of your little finger as you twist your hand back to the original position. The earth carries on turning and Eden now goes into black darkness as you twist your hand slowly again. Eden then is at midnight as you carry on turning and finally lands up on the left hand side.
Please note that when GOD said "let there be light", the entire one half of the earth from Eden to the Pacific was bathed in light.This meant that the complete earth was given light in only 12 hours. That is why a complete day is only 12 hours long at the equinox.
Also note that when GOD said "let there be light", the earth itself was covered in frozen ice (waters).This was after the Lucifer ion rebellion when God switched all light off.
So that His first action on switching on his light power was to melt the frozen waters on the earth so that he could make them mobile. This was accomplished in the first 12 hours when Eden had reached the Evening point. So that the Evening of Eden and the morning 12 hours earlier were the first day of 12 hours.Gen. 1:5
When Eden had come back to its morning position the entire earth was covered in a layer of water at about 67 degrees Fahrenheit.
God now wanted to split the "waters" into two and have a space in between in which we humans could live. The space he called a "firmament" the waters which were above the firmament are what we call clouds. Clouds are still water but the molecules are in a high state of activity.
The waters which were below the the "firmament" are what we would call one big sea covering the earth, but not too deep.
This was started after Eden had gone through night (or darkness) time so that in the second 12 hours of light from morning to evening. The period of Evening to the morning 12 hours before, was the second day.Gen.1:8
So we breath in the space called Heaven which is between the two watery sections but this heaven also goes on into deep empty space. Gen. 1:8
Now in the third period of 12 hours when Eden goes from left to right as your hand turns, God does a lot.
He reorganises the surface of the earth so that there are mountains and big dips for seas. So that the waters under the Heaven are gathered together in one place and DRY land (earth) appears.The waters are called seas. And it was good.
He then brings forth GRASS and trees etc.
When Eden has reached the right side of your hand at evening, the evening and morning 12 hours before are the third day. Gen.1:13.
As before Eden then goes slowly into NIGHT and after 12 hours of DARKNESS reaches the left hand side of your fist.
Please note again. that Grass only takes 24 hours to start growing.
At the start of the fourth 12 hours of Edens time in the morning journey God does even bigger things.
HE creates lights in the firmament of the heaven. These lights we see through the air we breath. God does not name these lights but later we see that they are the Sun (Gen. 15:17) to rule the day and the Moon (Deut. 4:19) to rule the night but he then goes on to name the Stars. And to divide the light from the darkness.
God has got to do this because HE will shortly switch off his own light power and allow the SUN to do the job for him.
By the time Eden has reached the evening position, 12 hours later, all this is done. So that as Eden goes into the night (darkness) time position the "night sky" most probably has the moon up there.
Also what is not said in this chapter is that God set the earths axis at an angle of 23 degrees to the sun and set it on course around the sun to produce the seasons of the year.
This fourth 12 hours of Edens journey from morning to evening is the fourth day.Gen.1:19
When Eden has gone through the night and reached the morning, God is ready to start producing food and novelty for future man.
So in this fifth set of 12 hours for Eden
God created fish in the sea and winged fowl that fly in the heaven above the waters.Gen.1:20-22. There is the sun above with the moon, but the stars cannot be seen.
This part of creation is finished when Eden has reached evening.
When this fifth set of 12 hours is finished for Eden, this is the fifth day of 12 hours.Gen.1:23.
As Eden goes into the darkness the moon is possibly up above, and certainly the stars are now shining. These go out when Eden reaches morning.
When Eden starts its sixth set of 12 hours God must have switched off his own light power as HE could now rely on the sun to produce the earths light. Yes I know the Bible does not say this. Think about it. God is now going to produce the cattle from the earth and also man and woman. In Gen.2:7 God also breaths life into man through his nostrils. God could only do this if God was as a human in form but having the power of God just as Christ was later on walking among us.
Once Eden had reached the evening time so that the evening and previous morning 12 hours before was the sixth day, then Eden and GOD would now go into a Sabbath NIGHT even though the moon and stars would have been there.So that when Eden had gone through 12 hours of darkness and arrived at the following morning.
The next seventh 12 hours of Eden going from morning to evening would have been a 12 hour day of rest or Sabbath for God rested.

In some Bibles, the word Heaven in Gen.1:1 has got an "S" on it making it Heavens. This must be an educated error on the part of our so called scholars as he created the Heavens on the 4th day. He only created one heaven and one earth in the beginning.
There are three Heavens of note in the Bible:
The first is the heaven in which we breath, the is referred to in Deut.11:11 as being the "Rain of Heaven"
The second Heaven is referred to as that starting from the first and going into deep space i.e. 1 Kings 8:27 the Heaven of Heavens.
The third Heaven is the one inside this being the place where God and Christ have their abode. Is. 14:13,14 in the sides of the North.
The earth was covered in ICE i.e. frozen waters as a direct result of the Lucifer ion rebellion. This must have happened very quickly as a result of atomic bombs because the life forms then having been trapped now in what we call fossils. Some fossils actually show birds in flight and big fish eating little fish. So that when God melted the Ice, this was the end of the ice age.
