Most people regard Lucifer as the god of terror and destruction. This is
because he was given control over the earth rebelled, ho hum, tried to take over
the Heavenly abode and was repelled back to earth, caused chaos, ho hum and has
been living in darkness ever since. All very boring. The Catholic church tend to
say that they worship the god of light and god is good and only good can come
from god. Ho hum all very boring stuff.
So let me introduce you to the god of terror and evil.
I once visited a library and asked if I could spend an hour in it to get to
know the books. So I picked one up and started to read. I had not read this type
of book before. After about one hour I noticed that the atmosphere had got a
little icy. I thought it was my imagination and carried on reading but the icy
atmosphere did not change. I thought ok no more of this type of book for me. I
then put the book back and left the room. The icy mood left.
When the ancient of days created lucifer he was known as the light bringer
and was perfect in all his ways.
Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou was created, till iniquity was found in thee.
So what in effect went wrong. Nothing which God has created in human or
spiritual form is made as an automaton. He does not want this. He does not want
yes men. He wants beings to look at him and say what a wonderful being he is and
what he has done and what he is going to do. He gave spirit and human beings the
power to think. One can think for good or bad.
Unfortunately for all of the billions of spirit beings that God created and
to become his offspring one went wrong. But he has been given three chances.
It is highly probable that Lucifer looked at God and as he could guess all
the power that god had and said that God has got more power than I have, I will
take over his position thinking that he could and get away with it. He most
probably told the other angels that He Lucifer had more wisdom than god has or
more power than god has or more beauty than god has and that He lucifer could
make the angels more beautiful.
And as a result of this he became known as an iniquititous one or a
rebellious one or a devil liar.
This is said because Christ said of the Scribes and Pharisees John 8:3. You
are of your father the devil-he was a murderer from the beginning-and abode not
in the truth-for he is a liar, and the father of it.
