It all sounds very dramatic doesn't it? WELL it's a whole lot worse than that. This is the system that the saints of the most High will have warring against them ( as flesh and blood people) Dan 7:21, I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of days came. --and changed them into spirit beings. 18 But the saints of the most high (as spirit beings) shall take the kingdom and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. So now is the time to get to know the enemy
The first thing is to get to know some of the words used- to understand the language.
Lets define a whore1--an adulteress an unchaste woman. a more polite term is an entertainer of many men.
Harlot2-- one who prostitutes herself for hire--getting paid to entertain men
Mystery3-- a secret or obscure matter. now we are getting to the point
Babylon4---The ancient capital of the Chaldean empire; the mystical city mentioned in the apocalypse; Rome
Apocalypse5---The great revealing; so Apocalyptical revelations are one and the same thing.
The Occult6--Kept secret, esoteric; mysterious
Pagan7--a person who has no religion or disregards Christian beliefs
Pagan8 --a person following any pre-Christian religion
ONE of the times, that one has a mystery, is, when something that is apparently true, obscures a false system. Or there is a MIXTURE of good and bad. One modern example of this is a car. We could go to a showroom and see a car that appears shiny and well painted and it appears to go. Upon buying it and using it for a while, it is then that the unseen problems begin to surface like oil leaks, and slow punctures and intermittent electrical systems and that it doesn't go quite as well now over ten miles an hour. The car has an outside appearance of purity but inward it was false.
So lets take the Rome festival of Christmas. Some Christians will be glad of this, others will scream and say what is wrong with Christmas? So the first of a series of questions to ask is did Jesus Christ belong to the Church of Rome --no. Did Christ keep Christmas?---no.
Were there three wise men?--no. Were there gifts?--- yes. Do we know Christs birthday?--no. Did Christ say that if ye will enter into life keep my birthday?--NO. Did Paul the apostle keep Christmas?--no. Did Christ keep Easter?--- no. Did Christ say that when you die you go to heaven?---no. When Christ died did he go straight to heaven?---no. Did Christ worship his own mother?---no. Did Christ say that when you pray do 20 000 laps around the Rosary Beads?---no. Did Christ keep a weekly mass Sunday morning and eat a little round disk?---no. Did Christ die late afternoon good Friday and rise again Sunday morning?---no. Was the apostle Peter married?---yes.
So where did it all begin?
Well Satan has always been there and his main aim is to get people to serve the creature more than the creator (Rom 1:21-26) and as is said in (Gen 3:1) Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the lord god had made. This same Satan was there even after the flood. And Nimrod was a mighty hunter before the lord (Gen 10:8,9). The Jewish Encyclopedia says that Nimrod was "he who made all the people REBELLIOUS against God. He attempted to build the first Kingdom which was Babel Gen 10:10 which was after the flood and in the land of Shinar and where the families of Noah dwelt there Gen 11:2
Nimrod was the mighty hunter against the beast of the field (Ex 23:29,30) Nimrod used, mind control to force men from obeying god and to obey him Nimrod. One of these evil practices was to have people cut up and to be sent to different part of the Known world. This happened to him and was practised by ancient Israel (Judges 19:29 and 1 Sam 11:7) Paul also describes some of the evil in Rom 1:21-32. This was practised in the Religious Babylonian system9 and before the flood. Gen 6:5.
Isaiah and Jeremiah foretold of the destruction of the Babylonian Empire Is 13:19-22; Jer 51,52 but not the religious system, but as can be seen from Paul the vile customs had spread to the Whole world. One of these vile custom was the Mother of God worship. Diana of Ephesus was one of such idols (Acts 19:24) for a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought not small gain unto the craftsmen; whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said Sirs ye know that this craft we have our wealth moreover ye see and hear that not alone at Ephesus but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands: so that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
But the worship of the mother stayed on and the Rome church taught that Mary was the mediator and the queen of heaven.
Now as a Christian one has got to ask oneself if one really wants to become involved in idols worship. If one wants to become like God as God is God? read on.
At Ephesus it was in this city that Diana had been worshipped as the goddess of virginity and motherhood from primitive times. She was said to represent the generative power of nature and was pictured with many breasts a tower -shape crown a symbol of the tower of Babel; adorned her head. The early church did not worship Mary, it began at a later date. So Christians had turned the world upside down Acts 17:6

We at first thought that our Royalty would soon disappear, but then this would not fall in line with the other prophetic scripture Jer 33:17 for thus saith the Lord, David shall NEVER WANT a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel.
So if there has ALWAYS got to be a Royal available to sit on the throne, the only other explanation for Hosea 3:4 is that Royal AUTHORITY disappears. This is what has happened. Since Queen Victoria the authority of the throne has gradually been whittled away. It was virtually removed under Cromwell and under the Treaty of Maastricht it has gone as our Queen has now become a citizen of Europe (under Brussels). She is in effect only keeping the throne "warm" for Christ to return to.
In Hosea 5:15 last part it says: in their affliction they will seek me early. The British people have had enough of Europe in fact in the breakfast report with Frost, one MP said "Stuff Europe" and as David Frost said that it has been a week of Stuff Europe. But the British have not quite as yet started to say that we were better under God--not quite.
Now is the time to start saving cash for Petra, we suggest that people make sure they have sufficient money to at least take a one way journey there. From the human viewpoint we suggest at least both way so that if you decide you don't like it for any strange reason then you can at least opt out. Remember though it will be a different world that you come back to. We still believe it is Petra as this is the only spot that we know at present that would accommodate the last bit of hell on earth. By this we meant that in the last few minutes before Christ actually returns Satan will pelt the earth with the stars of heaven, rocks etc so that if it were possible no flesh would be saved. If people are in the deep holes of Petra they would clearly be safe.
The bible does not say just how many will be going to the place of safety, it could be a minimum of one family of four people making one church and as we have to accommodate the Dead that will rise first, and we don't know how many the dead are the figure cannot be calculated. If the Dead are 140,000 then clearly only 4000 will go to Petra. On the other hand half a million may go and finally decide after a few weeks things are just too uncomfortable for them and there is a mass exodus back.
We are in the process of making tentative contact with King Hussein of Jordan. So WHEN we go, it will be under the auspices of the King to keep all things strictly decent and in order.

We received with our On Target Magazine recently another piece of literature which basically advertised the Trinity Doctrine. So we asked for their biblical proof as shown by the next letter.
Dear Sirs 10 Mar 95
We have just received your Christian Voice with our On Target Magazine which we have been getting for years. Under your STATEMENT OF FAITH you say:
"We believe in one creator God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as stated in the historic creeds of the Christian church."
Would you send us the Biblical, documented proof, of the One God, three persons please.

As readers are aware since then the banking firm Barings crashed, and Germany
has taken over the British Rumbelows electronic chain. Mr Booker of the Sunday
Telegraph (5 Mar 95) has pointed out that in respect to Europe, what we are
facing is a nightmarish absurdity.
We will give a minimum of two more such warnings to the Prime Minister and
then our work is done--Britain/Ephraim has been warned.
However a few simple questions will clarify the situation.
Has a single currency produced a debt free prosperous Russian economy? no
Has a single currency produced a debt free prosperous American economy? no
Has a single currency produced a debt free prosperous English economy? no
The economies of Germany and Japan are not to be considered since they both
have in recent times have had the hell driven from them and they both have had a
massive infusion of western aid pumped into them. In the Kingdom of God it is
quite likely that there will be a single currency but by then his laws judgments
and statutes will be in force.
Tony Blair (head of Labour party in UK) recently on the Dimbleby show said
that we can't go back on VAT on fuel (i.e. cheaper fuel) as much as we would
like to. ---Editors comment: because it is controlled by Brussels, but Mr Blair
did not admit as much on television. In other words all of our politicians are
now simply puppets of the European Parliament.
We would like to say thanks to the people who are giving us tithes and
offerings, quite clearly you are finding it works as the Church income is going
up and people are being blessed. In my own situation my wealth has increased
many times since giving to Gods work.

Letter to an ex wwcg
Dear Bruce 19 Feb 95
We have just received your letter dated 2-8-95, thanks.
1) How, when did we start?
We actually officially got started 15 March 1994. So now the how. We left the
Global church of God after about three months. We thought Merrideth was going to
be fresh and get rid of all the old problems but as a friend said he is just
wwcg mark 2. However money became available to start a church here. So we got in
touch with the citizens advice bureau and asked them what were the legal
requirements to start a church in England and the verbal answers was that
provided one didn't commit incest, black magic, buggery or make a noise to upset
the neighbours, English law states that we are in a free religious country;
after all that is the basis of English law, freedom of religious worship. We
then consulted with the security officer of the Defence Research Agency (DRA)
where I work and the answers was the same. Two other organisation repeated the
statements and so it was then getting down to the simple mechanics of setting it
up.
You can appreciate that we had 10% spare cash to devote to GOD. We contacted
Girobank and they asked us for our basic beliefs which we gave them, involved
with this of course was that we had to make a statement of officers of
organisation and sign to say that the officers do NOT get paid. This was done
and now we have a Girobank account. A post office box was then set up as you are
aware. We then got put back on the telephone. Finally we started analysing our
own beliefs to see what we did believe and why we went into the church in the
first place.
2) Alex Cain, that's the writer of this letter to you, is the leader. I was
born 15 March 1943. At present I am a Materials Scientist in Polymeric Materials
in the above DRA. I have just recently passed the Higher National Certificate
(HNC) in Science in Chemistry this took 4 years. I have above average IQ.
Married with two children 21,17.
3) Why did we split off from the World Wide Church of God? It was not easy.
We went through great trauma?. Basically it was because of stealthy doctrinal
changes. We accepted Mr Tkach (Mr T) when he took over and then accepted it when
he said that Mr Armstrong (Mr A) had made some mistakes. Our problem was that we
were not told what mistakes Mr A had made and given the Biblical proof of the
new one. It was when Mr T Jnr started to say that the identity of nations was of
no consequence and Mr T introduced the Hypostasis God that Sue my wife came to
me and started saying to me that things are changing not for the better. But I
think for me the final straw was that we didn't hear much about Mrs T. Now
remember it was Loma D Armstrong that God used in triggering Mr A in the first
place , not a lot is said about her. Also it was the son's speaking ability that
brought thousands into the church. There is a general feeling that once Loma had
died, her restraining influence on Herbert stopped and he did what he wanted to
do.
4) The 95 Calender has been sent to you.
5) Herbert W Armstrong-end-time Elijah?
As explained partly in the last letter to you this is the tricky one. To go
on with it without sounding too much like a politician, as one can go round and
round in circles over this one but there is a conclusion. The straight answer is
YES. Mr A had a genius for advertising which God obviously used. He wrote
fascinating articles and of course his personality was magical. He had a strong
powerful mind and GOD caused the church to grow under him. He did however cause
or encourage people to worship him even though he said don't. This comes out in
the Cult concept. When students went to the college to learn about the "Way of
life" as we have learned from the ambassador reports, it was Mr A which
dominated the situation not GOD.
When it comes to bible doctrine one has to accept that God used Mr A to rub
our noses into the GOOD BOOK more so than the JWs or Mormons. Take Mr A away for
those 50 years and hundreds of thousands would not know that the bible even
existed. We feel the problem started when Mr A was challenged over the Passover
Doctrine. He did the correct thing as per Romans 3:2 which states that the Jews
have the oracle of God. Because some said it was one day and others said it was
another, he consulted with the Jews in a telephone call to Israel to find out
which day was the Passover?
Now the Jews would have been very pleasant with him and told him when the
Passover was. That was it!!!!! he had done his job and had consulted with them.
Unfortunately that WAS it, if they said it was on Sunday the 22 March or
whatever, That's what he accepted and that was it AS WE UNDERSTAND IT. As we
understand it, Mr A did not know that the Passover changes with the moon each
year over a 19 year time cycle. That's the way God intended it, to make us
think. And of course to keep the seasons changing a bit.
So it appears that when the Jews told Mr A the date of that Passover for that
year he assumed that it was the same for all time. So we had a fixed Passover
with a fixed Pentecost. When the truth was told him, he either just did not want
to know or just did not listen or whatever. I have had the same conversation
with Jewish Rabbis and listened. The other thing that goes with this is that
there is no such thing as a separate Night to be Remembered. Again it would
appear that Mr A at some point became anti Jew and decided to keep it 24s before
the Jews and compounded the problem.
As per the calender being sent to you which is from the Jewish Chronicle.
Passover night is kept on the 14 April 95 which is a Friday night. At the going
down of the sun on the 14 the unleavened bread and wine routine is gone through.
This is followed by a meal of herbs, meat etc and more wine and then the foot
washing routine. The Passover DAY therefore follows the Passover night and is
the First yearly Sabbath or High day. Weather permitting a Full moon will be
seen highlighting that we have done all things correctly. The Passover day is
the first DAY of unleavened bread.
6) We have been and are still warning the WCG brethren, some have died, and
the others are very sleepy spiritually.
7) We understand Church Era's but as you can guess, we thought the Laodicean
church would follow the Philadelphian one. As it is they both exist together.
We teach brotherly love as shown in the article Britain/Ephraim. So the
Church of God is a remnant of the Philadelphian Era.

A final conclusion about Mr A is that in reality he is dead and no amount of
prayer or wishful thinking will bring him back. WE have to move forward
otherwise we end up worshipping HIM which is what lot of the off shoots are
doing and in this way are living in a time warp. WE have to hold fast to that
which is good. Have a happy study.
